Tradewind Australia, a specialist education recruitment agency, seeks an experienced Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) Coordinator to join their team. This is an ongoing part-time position commencing in November.

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and skilled OSHC Coordinator to lead a program in a Montessori setting in the North of Sydney for children aged 3-6 years old. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, including staff supervision, child safety, movement between campuses, curriculum development, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

This role involves leading a team of educators to deliver high-quality care and experiences for children. Key duties include:

  • Developing and implementing engaging activities and programs that promote children's learning and development.
  • Maintaining a safe and inclusive environment where all children feel valued, respected, and supported.
  • Fostering positive relationships with children, families, schools, and the broader community.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including National Quality Framework (NQF) standards.

The proposed hours of work are as follows:

  • During Term Weeks: Monday - Friday 2pm - 6pm (20 hours per week)
  • During School Vacation periods: Monday to Friday - (40 Hours per week)
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of an ACECQA approved Diploma of Children's Services or Early Childhood.
  • Prior experience as a Coordinator of an OSHC Provision.
  • Senior First aid training as prescribed in the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010, including anaphylaxis and emergency asthma training.
  • Food Safety Certification, or willingness to complete relevant training.
  • Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Framework and Education and Care Services National Regulations.

Estimated Salary Range

The estimated annual salary range for this position is approximately $60,000-$80,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
