Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our Reliability team in Bentley, Western Australia. As a key member of our site maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide engineering support to the site, ensuring all factory maintenance and service functions are carried out effectively and efficiently.
  • Cultivate a safety-first culture within the reliability teams and across the site.
  • Actively participate in Bega's people processes and contribute to a culture that is constructive, professional, supportive of one another, and with a customer service focus.
  • Support New Product Development activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and growth.
  • Ensure all work meets engineering standards and complies with food safety requirements.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Engineering – mechanical and/or electrical trade.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working in a team environment.
  • A broad understanding of processing and packaging in the FMCG industry, with intermediate knowledge of electrical control and instrumentation.

  • $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • A great roster, with four days on (two 12-hour shifts) and four days off.
