Field Service Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled trade professional to join our team as a Field Service Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting and servicing packaging machinery throughout Queensland and New South Wales.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Installation and Commissioning: Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery to ensure smooth operation.
  • Maintenance and Servicing: Perform regular maintenance and servicing of packaging machinery and bulk handling solutions to prevent downtime.
  • User Training: Provide training to users on the proper operation of machinery.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service skills.
  • Reporting: Produce timely and accurate reports of work completed.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Trade or Tertiary Qualifications: Hold trade or tertiary qualifications in an Electrical or Mechanical discipline.
  • Industry Experience: Have previous experience working with packaging/manufacturing machinery.
  • Technical Skills: Possess a working knowledge of PLC operation and/or programming, as well as mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic aspects of process machines.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrate high-level fault finding/troubleshooting skills and a strong eye for detail.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and relationship building skills.
