Plumbing Instructor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Casual Sessional Teacher to join our team at RMIT University's College of Vocational Education. As a Casual Sessional Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering course material, assessing students, and supervising students enrolled in selected courses within the program.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in plumbing and industry currency, with the ability to teach and assess students in a competency-based assessment environment. You will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and industry partners.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver course material and assess students in a competency-based assessment environment
- Supervise students enrolled in selected courses within the program
- Develop and maintain industry relationships to ensure current and contemporary vocational competence
- Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment materials
- Certificate IV in TAE 40116 or 40122
- Current industry experience in plumbing
- Passion for education and the teaching profession
- Demonstrated experience teaching in Vocational Education is desirable
- Ability to travel to all locations as required
- Valid Victorian Working with Children Check (WWCC)
