About the Role:

We are currently seeking Machine Operators to join our team. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating off-coil machines to shape and cut reinforcing bars and mesh. This is a critical role that requires attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operate off-coil machines to produce steel products
  2. Input job tags on machines to ensure accurate production
  3. MIG Welding (second class) of steel cages & gates
  4. Operate an overhead crane and forklift
  5. Accurately pick and pack orders
  6. Load and unload trucks for customers or our drivers
  7. Promote and contribute to a safe workplace

Requirements:

  • Reliable and physically fit
  • Safety focused and able to follow instructions
  • Good communication skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Able to read a tape measure and enter information into machine computer
