Job Description
We are seeking a Guest Service Agent to join our team. As the central point of contact for guests, you will be responsible for creating memorable moments and transforming their stay into an experience. Your exceptional customer service skills will ensure that our guests receive a prompt and efficient check-in and check-out process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to our guests and residents
- Respond to guest calls promptly and maintain a positive selling approach to maximise yield in both occupancy and rates
- Utilise the hotel PMS to accurately process and input all reservation types within the same working day
- Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times and ensure guest confidentiality
- Follow procedures and processes in regards to credit and cash transactions
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a reservations role (preferred but not required)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of OPERA, or other PMS systems (ideal)
- Enthusiasm to provide our guests with an outstanding service
- P2 Provisional driver's license (preferred but not required)
- Availability to work a 7 day rotating roster including late nights, weekends, and public holidays
