Communications Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Communications Specialist to join our team.

  • A communications specialist is responsible for creating and disseminating effective communication materials, building relationships with industry leaders, media representatives, stakeholders, and the public.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Content Creation: Develop high-quality content across various channels, such as press releases, articles, blog posts, newsletters, speeches, and sales collateral.
  • Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with media representatives and respond to inquiries, coordinating interviews or press conferences when necessary.
  • Internal Communications: Prepare and distribute internal communications, including product updates, company announcements, and organizational updates.
  • Public Relations Campaigns: Assist in planning, execution, and monitoring of PR campaigns, including drafting press materials.
  • Crisis Communications: Support the development and execution of crisis communication strategies, preparing statements, responding to inquiries, and ensuring consistent messaging during sensitive situations.
  • Brand Management: Ensure all communication materials align with branding guidelines and maintain a consistent brand voice across all channels.
  • Event Coordination: Support planning and coordination of company events, conferences, or promotional activities requiring strategic communications.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Track media coverage, social media activity, and communication metrics to support overarching marketing departmental and organizational success.

Prior experience working in Marketing/Content Writing within Higher Education is highly desirable. A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is required. Essential skills include advanced problem-solving, critical thinking, and exceptional attention to detail.
