Job Description

This role is an opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing financial support and advice to a high-performing team.

As a Justice Officer - Finance, you will process a range of financial transactions, ensuring compliance with requirements and timelines. You will also perform accounts functions, including payables, receivables, reconciliation, and data entry and reporting.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Providing high-quality finance related services to the Beechworth Correctional Centre
  • Ensuring accurate and timely preparation of centre invoices for payment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Well-developed computer literacy
  • Knowledge of accounting processes in particular accounts payable
  • Demonstrated experience with Oracle or similar finance related system
