About the Role

Ventia is seeking a skilled and experienced Drill Rig Fitter/Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Olympic Dam. As a key member of our field team, you will be responsible for conducting routine services on drilling rigs, pumps, air compressors, trucks, and utilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on drilling equipment, including Dual Rotary, RC, and conventional drilling rigs.
  • Work on pumps, air compressors, trucks, and utilities to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless operations and meet project deadlines.
  • Adhere to industry legislation and compliances, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of technical expertise, staying up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices.
