About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Integration Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman Australia. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of the Deep Space Advanced Radar (DARC) capability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform initial Antenna Assembly and Integration
  • Conduct Initial System Integration and Check Out (SI&CO) testing
  • Attend site meetings to support execution planning, risk mitigation development, and issue resolution
  • Ensure safety, schedule, and quality-related risks and issues are reported to the Hardware Lead and the NGADARC programme manager
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, ideally enhanced by mechanical and/or electrical trade qualifications. Your background should include experience in the construction and commissioning of communications infrastructure. You should have a strong ability to work effectively within a small team, innovative problem-solving skills, and a keen ability to identify and mitigate risks.

Experience in SATCOM ground station or large RADAR system installation and maintenance will be highly desirable.
