Job Overview:

A trusted specialist seeks an experienced Electrical/Mechanical Fitter to assist in a growing workshop. Our company offers a reliable service in electric motors, generators, and condition monitoring.

We have the capabilities and experience to manufacture, install, commission, repair, test, and service business-critical power generation and electric motor products in a fully equipped workshop with skilled mechanical and electrical staff.

Our team provides regular and responsive service to long-standing clients across various sectors, including mining, industrial, hospitals, retirement villages, rail transport, data centres, and utilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repairing AC and DC motors with at least 5 years' experience
  • Maintenance and repair of electrical or mechanical equipment
  • Experience in repairing flameproof motors is desirable
  • Valid Forklift Licence and valid driving licence required
  • White Card holder
  • Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft programs
  • High attention to detail and clean work environment
  • Commitment to compliance, health and safety measures, and additional training when required
Requirements:
  • Australian Working Rights
  • Self-motivated individual working under minimal supervision
  • Strong knowledge and experience working on both AC & DC motors
  • Availability to work overtime and weekends when required (minimal)
