The OpportunityWe are seeking a Community Youth Program Leader to join our team and support young people with disabilities in community/centre-based Youth Programs and School Holiday programs, life skills through capacity building at home or in the community.
Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate community youth programs, ensuring they meet the needs and goals of clients.
- Develop and deliver workshops, training sessions and other activities that promote social inclusion and community participation.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a high-quality service delivery.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement.
- You will have a relevant qualification or experience in youth work, disability support, education or a related field.
- You will have a strong understanding of a person-centred approach and be committed to ConnectAbility's mission and values.
- You will be able to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- You will have a current driver's licence and First Aid & CPR certification.
