About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-Time Sales Associate to join our team at Total Tools. As a Sales Assistant - Key Holder, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth in our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Sales Transactions: Accurately process sales transactions, handle customer payments, and maintain a high level of cash handling accuracy.
  • Provide Product Advice: Offer expert advice and information on products to customers, ensuring they find the right tools for their needs.
  • Support Customer Queries: Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain Store Displays: Ensure store displays are well-presented, visually appealing, and meet company standards.
  • Process Customer Orders: Process and maintain customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Key Holder Responsibilities: As a Key Holder, you will be responsible for opening and closing the store, ensuring security and compliance with company policies.
Requirements
  • Previous Retail and/or Trade Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in retail or trade, with a strong understanding of tools and equipment.
  • Passion for Tools: A genuine passion for tools and a willingness to learn and stay up-to-date with new products and technologies.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • Technology Literacy: Proficient in using technology, including point-of-sale systems and other retail software.
  • Availability: Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and public holidays, with a flexible roster.
