Job Title: Senior Hydraulic Consultant

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a reputable organization and be part of a dynamic team delivering high-quality hydraulic services designs.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the success of the organization, both locally and nationally across the Building Services discipline. They will work collaboratively with experienced engineers to deliver innovative hydraulic services designs and documentation that meet Australian standards and authority codes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop technically sound and commercially viable hydraulic services designs and documentation.
  2. Provide clear instructions and markups to drafting and 3D modeling teams.
  3. Ensure accurate drawings and registration systems are produced according to specifications and applicable standards.
  4. Manage project deliverables within scope, financial, and resource constraints.
  5. Coordinate or perform quality assurance checks for design documents and drawings.
  6. Participate in the development of hydraulic services design capabilities and ongoing professional development.

Requirements:

  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications (Cert IV in Plumbing or BSc).
  2. Registration with the relevant authorities for NSW Class 2 Building Practitioners Design declarations.
  3. Demonstrated experience working as a Senior Hydraulic Designer in the building services industry.
  4. Proficiency in Revit software, AutoCAD, and BlueBeam.
  5. In-depth knowledge of AS3500 suite of standards, National Construction Code, and Plumbing Code of Australia.

You will be an excellent communicator and have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
