This position offers a unique chance to join our team as a Manager of Financial Crime in Perth. As a subject matter expert, you will provide critical advice to all business units within Crown, ensuring compliance with the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (AML/CTF Act) and AML/CTF Rules. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing strategic guidance on AML/CTF matters to the business
  • Acting as the go-to expert for all AML/CTF related queries at Crown Perth
  • Leading and driving strategic uplift initiatives as part of Crown's Financial Crime & Compliance Change Program
  • Reviewing and advising on financial crime impacts of new business initiatives
  • Assisting in delivering AML/CTF risk awareness training
  • Collaborating with business units and other stakeholders on AML/CTF matters
  • Overseeing and managing AML/CTF projects to ensure timely and effective delivery

We are seeking an experienced financial crime subject matter expert who possesses exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. Ideally, you will have some exposure to the gaming industry; however, experience in the financial sector will also be valuable. You should have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Significant experience in AML or financial crime compliance, regulatory, or consulting roles
  • Experience dealing with regulators is a plus
  • Strong understanding of the AML/CTF regulatory framework
  • Interest in or knowledge of gaming operations, policies, and procedures
