An exciting opportunity has emerged for highly motivated Primary Education Specialists to join the Kip McGrath Education Centre Kenmore team.

Our educational programs are tailored to meet the unique needs of each student, providing remediation, consolidation, and extension learning in numeracy and literacy from Year 1 through to college.

About the Role:

At Kip McGrath, we prioritize teaching and learning. As a Primary Education Specialist, you will work in a small group setting, realising your passion for teaching literacy and numeracy while helping students grow their confidence and achieve their goals.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Teaching students using our evidence-based methodology.
  • Tutoring students in a positive, caring manner to promote self-esteem and self-worth.
  • Leveraging our state-of-the-art software to streamline lesson planning and delivery.
  • Maintaining a high level of availability to commit to scheduled classes.
  • Developing strong relationships with students and parents through effective communication and rapport building.
  • Tracking student progress and goals on a weekly basis.
  • Providing regular feedback to parents through verbal and written communications.
  • Working up to 2-3 sessions per day, Monday to Saturday.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A teaching degree or be in the final year of your studies.
  • A current Working with Children Check.
  • A friendly, professional, and personable demeanor.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
  • Demonstrate a positive, vibrant personality.
  • Confidence in using software and computers.
  • A genuine love for learning and teaching.
  • Reliable, high attention to detail, and strong organisational skills.
  • Ability and willingness to teach both face-to-face in our Kenmore centre and online as required by management.
