Our client is a major regional hospital that has recently undergone a significant redevelopment, delivering new beds, improved services in the rehabilitation unit, and a new 24-hour emergency department. The hospital provides patient care to exciting and varied medical challenges, making it an ideal place for anaesthetists to grow and develop their skills.
About the Role
As a Staff Specialist Anaesthetist, you will be responsible for:
- Providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our anaesthesia department
- Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient outcomes
- Participating in the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures
- Contributing to the education and training of junior staff members
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Registration with AHPRA and at least 12 months recent experience
- On ANZCA training program approaching Fellowship
- Hold the FANZCA
- IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ, as well as interested candidates from South Africa, Hong Kong, Malaysia
- IMG's with a confirmed ANZCA interview date
- IMG's already assessed by ANZCA and found to be substantially comparable
