We are a dynamic and supportive veterinary team at Greencross Ferntree Gully, seeking an experienced veterinarian to join our close-knit clinic. As a key player in our thriving practice, you will work alongside 6 dedicated nurses and 3 skilled vets to provide top-notch care.

About Our Clinic

Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with 2 anaesthetic machines and modern x-ray technology, ensuring we can deliver the highest standard of care. We have 2 modern consult rooms designed to create a comfortable and efficient environment for both our patients and team. Under the leadership of our Vet Director, Dr. Amy Freestone, our team receives exceptional guidance and support.

Role Overview

We are looking for a veterinarian with at least 2 years of experience, who is comfortable with sole charge and basic surgeries. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, enthusiastic, and eager to contribute to our team. This position primarily covers Thursday shifts, with occasional Fridays and Saturdays as needed.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year clinical experience post graduation.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Passion for companion animals.
  • Exceptional organisational, communication and customer service skills.
  • A commitment to working in a team environment.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must hold a Veterinary Science qualification from a university accredited by the Australasian Veterinary Boards' Council (AVBC) and/or have completed NAVLE, AVE or alike examinations. Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus additional benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
