About the Role

We are seeking a Part-time Kitchen Hand to join our team at HammondCare Waratah. As a key member of our Support Services team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality services within the kitchen to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support our model of care by delivering exceptional services within the kitchen, adhering to our organisational mission and values.
  • Be flexible and able to commit to a range of shifts, including weekends, to meet the needs of our residents.
  • Value teamwork and be able to work independently, showing initiative and a willingness to learn.
  • Follow all cleaning guidelines and schedules for equipment and working surfaces, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of safe manual handling and standard precautions, prioritising the well-being of our residents.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Understand safe food handling principles and create a safe working environment, adhering to kitchen protocols.
  • Experience in preparing and cooking within an Aged Care environment is highly desirable, but not essential.
