About this role:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to join our team as a Senior Data Engineering Manager. In this role, you will play a key part in expanding and enhancing our offerings for merchant and retail customers.

Your responsibilities:

  • You will develop and implement new system designs and solutions using Ab Initio Technologies and continuously improve our processes.
  • You will apply design, development, testing, deployment, support, and evaluation principles to deliver high-quality software solutions with comprehensive test coverage.
  • You will design and build programs or application features meeting business objectives and requirements.
  • You will provide technical guidance and mentorship to other members of the team.
  • You will contribute to strategic engineering goals within your own team and platform.

Tech Skills:

This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your expertise in analytics and data warehousing. You should have experience with design, architecture, or development in these areas, as well as solid experience with Ab Initio, ETL pipeline building with Spark or Scala, programming frameworks, and UNIX Shell Scripting.

You should also be familiar with Big Data platforms for ETL development with AWS Cloud Platform, Oracle SQL database programming, SQL performance tuning, and relational model analysis.

In addition, experience with Teradata data warehouses, Cloudera Hadoop, and Enterprise Analytics/BI/DW/ETL technologies such as Teradata Control Framework, Tableau, OBIEE, SAS, Apache Spark, Hive would be highly valued.

What We Offer:

The estimated salary for this role is around $180,000 - $220,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive additional benefits and incentives, including flexible working arrangements, professional development opportunities, and access to cutting-edge technology.
