Mercy Community is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Group Facilitator/Counsellor to join our team. This is a permanent full-time position based in our Ipswich office.
The successful applicant will promote, organize, and facilitate psycho-educational groups delivered within our programs and provide individual and/or family counselling.
Key duties will include creating and leading psycho-educational groups and materials, promoting groups to the local community, managing group details, and ensuring participant evaluations are completed.
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Counselling, Psychology, Behavioural Sciences, Social Work, or a related discipline, and have demonstrated experience in group facilitation.
