About the Role

The University of Southern Queensland is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lecturer in Speech Pathology to join our team. As a key member of our School of Health and Medical Sciences, you will play a vital role in the development of our Speech Pathology programs, including internal and external accreditation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach into the Speech Pathology discipline, incorporating contemporary and blended approaches.
  • Develop and implement innovative curricula, assessments, and teaching materials.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of our Speech Pathology programs, including research and industry partnerships.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the student experience and promote academic excellence.

Requirements

  • A Doctoral degree in an area relevant to Speech Pathology or progress towards gaining a PhD.
  • Registration (or eligibility to register) as a Speech Pathologist by Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully teach into the Speech Pathology discipline.
  • Experience with interprofessional education, novel placement models, and Indigenous, regional, rural, and remote health.
