About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Data Leader to join our team at nbn™. As an Executive Manager Data Strategy and Implementation, you will play a critical role in shaping and implementing our data strategy across the Networks business unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic business roadmap that prioritizes and sequences automation and data use cases.
  • Partner with the Networks leadership team, Data Domain Managers, Technology teams, and the Chief Data Office to ensure seamless delivery of the data strategy.
  • Take ownership of driving data initiatives, monitoring implementation, and ensuring value realization and measurable benefits.
  • Effectively communicate strategic insights and foster a shared understanding of how data use cases and funding align with business goals.
  • Identify growth opportunities within the data landscape and drive tangible benefits such as reduced automation time and optimized costs.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in data management, data governance, data architecture, and related disciplines.
  • Successful track record of leading data strategies and developing frameworks that drive impactful business outcomes, ideally in the Telco industry.
  • Ability to translate complex data strategies into actionable roadmaps that drive business benefits while effectively managing cross-functional teams to deliver results.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead through influence, manage multiple stakeholder groups, and track value realization.
  • Excellent communication and engagement skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and drive strategic initiatives.
