Return to Work Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Melbourne Metro, supporting individuals to return to work and maintain their independence.

About the Role

This casual position offers excellent opportunities for professional growth and development. You will have the chance to work with a diverse range of clients, assessing their needs and providing recommendations for support and equipment.

  • You will conduct thorough assessments of an individual's personal, domestic, and community activities of daily living (ADLs), identifying areas for improvement and recommending suitable services and assistive equipment.
  • Your expertise will be used to complete equipment trials in person, ensuring that recommendations are safe and effective for the individual.
  • You will also provide education and guidance to clients and injured workers on how to use assistive equipment and maximize their independence.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and full registration with AHPRA.
  • Previous experience working in occupational rehabilitation is highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
  • Compassion, kindness, and empathy are essential qualities for this role.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
