About the Role

Citic Pacific Mining is seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to join our Heavy Machinery Equipment (HME) team on a permanent 2/1 continuous shift roster (days & nights), FIFO ex Perth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mobile equipment, including inspections and adjustments using advanced skills and testing equipment.
  • Conduct a range of maintenance tasks associated with the normal trade role, as well as low voltage electrical, hydraulic diagnostics and repairs to mobile equipment.
  • Liaise with equipment operators, contractors and staff on minor problems of a technical nature.
  • Provide practical problem-solving in trade-related areas, including diagnostic skills required to troubleshoot equipment defects.
Requirements
  • Certified Heavy Duty trade Certificate
  • Extensive Mining experience
  • Class 'HR' motor vehicle licence or equivalent
  • Computing Skills (Technical and diagnostic software)
  • Communication skills
Desirable Qualifications
  • Work Safe License EWP, LF, CN and safe working at heights
  • ARTIC accredited for air conditioning
  • Elevated work platform certificate
  • First aid certificate
