About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Global Chief Information Security Officer to join our team at KAPiTAL Consulting. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive global information security strategy that aligns with our business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Information Security Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive global information security strategy that aligns with our business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish Security Policies and Standards: Establish and maintain security policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure the protection of our company assets and data.
  • Oversee Security Awareness and Training: Oversee the development and implementation of security awareness and training programs to ensure our employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to protect our assets.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with APRA, FCA, and other relevant regulations and standards.
  • Lead Security Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage information security risks across our organization.
  • Develop and Implement Risk Mitigation Strategies: Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and incident response plans to ensure our organization is prepared for potential security threats.
  • Conduct Security Audits and Vulnerability Assessments: Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and address potential security risks.
  • Lead a High-Performing Security Team: Build and lead a high-performing global information security team that is responsible for implementing and maintaining our information security program.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Professional Certifications: Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in information security, with at least 10 years in a leadership role.
  • Industry Experience: Extensive experience in the financial services industry, with a strong understanding of APRA and FCA regulations.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Global Experience: Ability to work effectively in a global, matrixed organization.
