We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced nanny to provide exceptional care for our two children, aged 10 and 13 years, in the afternoons and evenings.
The ideal candidate will be a responsible and organized individual who can confidently transport and accompany our children from school and to activities, as well as provide care throughout the afternoon and evening.
The nanny's responsibilities will include:
- Caring for the children's physical and emotional needs
- Following established routines and schedules
- Engaging in age-appropriate activities and hobbies
- Transporting and accompanying the children from school and to organized activities
- Assisting with light household tasks, including laundry and general tidying
- Cooking simple family meals
- Assisting with homework and educational activities
- Running occasional errands and light grocery shopping
- Providing a safe and nurturing environment for our children
The successful candidate will possess:
- At least 3 years of experience as a nanny or in child care
- A current first aid certificate
- A current Working with Children Check
- Strong communication skills and the ability to speak English fluently
- Up-to-date vaccinations
- A full driver's license
- An interest in sports and music is a bonus
- Tutoring experience is a bonus
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $45 per hour, including tax and super, and a flexible schedule that includes 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 2pm-7pm. Extra hours may be required during school holidays.
