As a member of our Information Technology team, you will be responsible for:

Manage and maintain Linux systems to ensure optimal performance and security

Develop, implement, and monitor system configurations and updates

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Linux-based applications and infrastructure

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Linux systems with other platforms

Ensure compliance with organisational and industry standards for security and data management

Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures

Contribute to system planning, upgrades, and capacity management

Support the organisation's technology goals through proactive system maintenance

 

The successful applicant will have:

Strong expertise in Linux system administration and management ideally minimum of 5+ years experience

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl

Experience with system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation

Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols relevant to Linux environments

A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement

Ability to work effectively in a temporary, fast-paced environment

Australian citizenship with ability to be NV1 Cleared
