We are seeking a highly skilled Violin Instructor to join our team of dedicated music educators. As a passionate and experienced teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality tuition to students aged 6-12 years at a beginner level.

Our ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in music or music qualification to an advanced level in their instrument (e.g Grade 8 AMEB or equivalent), experience with the AMEB or ABRSM syllabus, a working with children's check, and a drivers license (desirable).

You will work collaboratively with students, parents, and other teachers to develop strong relationships and create a supportive learning environment.

In this role, you will also have the opportunity to participate in performance opportunities and contribute to the growth and development of our music program.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality violin tuition to students aged 6-12 years at a beginner level
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and other teachers
  • Contribute to the growth and development of our music program

The successful candidate will possess a warm and approachable personality, be responsible, well organised, and punctual to lessons, and have an open mind to exploring and adopting different teaching methods and pedagogy.

This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling available Monday to Friday and weekends. We offer competitive hourly rates between $35-$45 per hour.

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in music or music qualification to an advanced level in your instrument
  • Experience with the AMEB or ABRSM syllabus
  • Working with children's check
