At Monadelphous, we're seeking a highly skilled SMP Project Engineer to join our team in Western Australia. Our Engineering Construction division provides large-scale multidisciplinary project management and construction services, with a strong reputation in the mining sector.

We're currently delivering high-quality work on major Lithium projects, and we're looking for talented individuals to contribute to our success. As an SMP Project Engineer, you'll play an essential role in contributing to the project lifecycle, from initial startup to on-site construction and closeout.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Workpack development and planning, scheduling, and executing the scope of work, including organizing project resources, equipment, and materials/procurement as directed to meet project or contractual requirements.
  • Provide advice, technical or functional information as required to Supervision and project staff involved in the execution of work.
  • Identify hazards and advise on safety procedures, actively monitoring work practices to ensure adherence to correct procedures and standards for safety and environmental performance.
  • Work in accordance with quality assurance procedures, client specifications, and ISO requirements.
  • Assist project teams with commissioning support.

What You'll Bring:

  • Previous experience working in a SMP engineering position, developing project/construction schedules and work packs, completing progress reporting, and monitoring milestones within the mining industry.
  • Clear written and technical skills with demonstrated capability in commercials, budgets/construction metrics, and change management.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Ability to undertake a 2:1 FIFO roster to Alice Springs.
