About the Role

Penten is a leading provider of cyber technology solutions, dedicated to strengthening national security and prosperity through innovative technology. We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Support Specialist to join our team and contribute to the development and delivery of our cutting-edge electronic warfare products and services.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the design and development of our EW product suite and related projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with technical teams to develop and implement integrated solutions for our EW product suite and other related projects.
  • Supporting a collaborative design process, involving the analysis of technical tradeoffs and client challenges.
  • Describing and analysing operational concepts and use-cases to enhance product usability, quality and functionality.
  • Contributing to the delivery of electronic warfare services and products for our clients, through the provision of integrated subject matter expertise and training on our products.
  • Writing comprehensive documentation to facilitate deployment and ongoing support of product solutions.

Requirements

  • Exceptional understanding of radiofrequency principles, communications technologies and electronic warfare concepts in a Defence environment.
  • Demonstrated experience operating effectively in diverse and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Ability to clearly communicate highly technical and complex concepts to technical and non-technical people.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and work on multiple projects concurrently.
  • Critical thinking and ability to learn new concepts and analyse and solve complex issues across various operational and client use cases.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Relevant industry experience related to the aforementioned domain areas (Veterans are encouraged to apply).
  • Australian citizenship.
  • AGSVA NV1 clearance or higher (or be eligible and willing to undergo the process).
  • Ability to travel frequently to domestic locations, and infrequently to international locations.
  • Ability to operate effectively in austere environments.
