In this rewarding position, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day care and support to children and young people in our Out of Home Care Programme. This includes meeting their daily care needs, contributing to a quality care environment, and documenting events and developments related to their care.

Requirements

  • A current paid working with children check, national police check, and valid driver's license.\
  • A suitable minimum qualification or eligibility for a traineeship.\
  • Availability to suit a rotating roster, including mornings, afternoons, weekends, and overnights.\
  • Demonstrated passion for helping children and young people heal and grow through understanding and support.\
  • Ability to utilise trauma-informed practices and supports in day-to-day care provision.\
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic care environment.\
