Job Overview

This permanent role is approximately equivalent to a 3-day workweek (24 hours), with Tuesday and Wednesday being required working days and your choice for the third working day. The official working hours are 8am to 4:30pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process end-to-end payroll for 109 employees on a fixed fortnightly basis.
  • Ensure all payroll transactions, including new hires, terminations, and changes to employee information, are processed accurately and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements (including ATO, superannuation, state-based payroll tax, worker injury insurance).
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee payroll records and work collaboratively with HR and other departments to ensure employee data remains accurate.
  • Generate reports and provide detailed information for audits and internal reviews.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is approximately $65,000-$85,000 per year, based on experience.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have minimum 3 years' experience with proven knowledge of payroll-related legislation, payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance. Additionally, you should possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to review existing processes to identify and implement process improvements.
