Forklift Operator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to transport materials and products within our warehouse.

This is a full-time opportunity with immediate start available for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in an FMCG warehouse environment using a forklift, as well as basic computer skills and attention to detail.

The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment, working extended shifts as required. You will also be required to adhere to strict bio-security requirements, which include not keeping live birds at home.

  • Operate a forklift to transport materials and products within the warehouse;
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work environment;
  • Ensure all processes minimize waste and maximize productivity;
  • Participate in training provided to ensure high level of skill and knowledge of tasks required;
  • Understand and comply with workplace health and safety, quarantine, and bio-security standards;
  • Meet daily production requirements through efficient time management and effective communication.
