Key Responsibilities

As an experienced Information Architect, you will play a pivotal role in delivering key elements of an Information Management Strategy in collaboration with the Australian Federal Government and Emanate Technology.

Key Deliverables
  • Develop and manage information architecture frameworks in government environments
  • Oversee content taxonomy and lifecycle management for the Intranet Redevelopment initiative
  • Create an enterprise information model and standards to meet business needs
  • Design logical and physical data models that align with enterprise information standards
  • Structure SharePoint architecture to improve document control, metadata tagging, and user navigation
  • Lead technical teams and ensure adherence to architecture best practices
Requirements
  • Demonstrated success in developing and managing information architecture frameworks in government environments
  • Extensive experience in SharePoint architecture, content lifecycle management, and records management
  • Proven ability to manage document control, metadata, and information usability
  • Leadership experience in delivering technical solutions that align with organisational strategy
  • Strong understanding of federal government processes and compliance requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Data Management or Information Management
Bonus Points
  • Formal qualifications in Enterprise Architecture (e.g. TOGAF)
  • Hands-on experience in the Australian Public Service (APS) with a thorough understanding of APS Values and governance
  • Previous experience leading SharePoint Intranet Redevelopment projects
  • Expertise in stakeholder management, including building strategic relationships across agencies
Important Considerations
  • Initial 12 month contract + 2 x 12 month extensions
  • This role may require federal government security clearance and as such we are only able to accept applications from candidates with Australian Citizenship
  • Preferred security clearance – NV1
  • You must have the ability to obtain and maintain national police check
