About the Role

The Sports Entertainment Network is seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team as a Physiotherapy Specialist for the Melbourne Mavericks. This is a part-time (0.6 FTE) position that requires delivering acute and ongoing physiotherapy services to the squad, while also playing a critical role as part of the high-performance team aiming to optimize on-court performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality physiotherapy services to the Melbourne Mavericks squad
  • Work collaboratively with the high-performance team to optimize on-court performance
  • Develop and implement injury prevention and rehabilitation programs
  • Provide clinical, rehabilitation, and communication services to athletes
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and supportive team culture

Requirements:

  • Appropriate physiotherapy tertiary qualifications (Masters in Sports Physiotherapy desirable)
  • Previous experience working in elite sport
  • Strong clinical, rehabilitation, and communication skills
  • Experience working with athletes at the elite level, in a high-pressure environment
  • Knowledge and proven track record in rehabilitation and injury prevention
  • Evidence of ongoing willingness to engage in professional development and stay up to date with the latest research
