Job Title: Telemetry and Instrumentation Technician

About the Role:

The Central Coast Council is seeking a skilled Telemetry and Instrumentation Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations and maintenance team, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of our water and sewer electronic infrastructure, instrumentation, and control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Completing complex troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and installation of communication and networking equipment, instrumentation and control equipment, digital radio and microwave service equipment, SCADA, and Telemetry systems.
  • Providing quality customer service and creating value for the community.
  • Working in a dynamic and service-focused team.

Requirements:

  • A Diploma of Electrical Engineering or Certificate III or IV in Instrumentation & Control, or demonstrated equivalent qualification with relevant experience.
  • A current NSW Electrical Supervisors Licence.
  • A current Class C Drivers Licence.
  • A valid Construction - General Induction Card - NSW WorkSafe or equivalent.
  • A current Safe Working at Heights qualification or willingness to obtain this qualification.
