The role is a part-time position, with the requirement of working 16 hours per week over two days.

Monday and Tuesday will be the designated days for this role, with the hours extending from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in childcare, display strong communication skills, and be fluent in English.

A gentle and calm personality is essential for building a strong bond with the child, who is currently 2 years old.

The successful candidate will be responsible for caring for the child, following their routine, engaging in age-appropriate creative activities, and participating in outings to support the child's learning milestones and development.

Additional responsibilities include preparing meals and snacks for the child, running errands, picking up grocery items occasionally, and performing light household duties such as tidying up after meal times and putting things back in their place.

The family also has an older dog that requires fresh water and breakfast.

Key qualifications for the role include:

  • 5+ years of experience as a nanny or in childcare
  • Current first aid certificate and ability to use an epipen if necessary
  • Current working with children's check number
