Job DescriptionThe Canteen Operations Manager plays a critical role in the management and operation of the school canteen, ensuring a profitable and efficient service that meets the needs of students, staff, and parents. This includes developing strong relationships with stakeholders, supervising a small team, and managing day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities- Manage the canteen's food preparation and service, adhering to relevant policies, procedures, and WHS legislation.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, volunteers, teachers, and other school personnel.
- Supervise a small team and demonstrate initiative in managing day-to-day operations.
- Exercise excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly when dealing with children.
- Demonstrate computer literacy using Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in food preparation and service settings.
- Basic Food Handling Certificate and Current Food Supervisor Certificate.
- Current paid NSW Working with Children Check number.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- A competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per annum.
