Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Sydney

Job Type: Full-time, contract until 30 June 2029

Salary Range:$129,721 - $147,426 per annum plus superannuation

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced project manager to support the delivery of economic development and place-based initiatives that promote the development of an inclusive, culturally rich, thriving and sustainable 24-hour city.

As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with other government agencies, industry organisations and local businesses to design and deliver programs that support local businesses and community through the promotion of 24-hour precincts, streamlining of approval processes and activation of places and spaces with diverse activities.

You will develop strong partnerships and work collaboratively to achieve strategic outcomes. To succeed in this role, you will have experience in the implementation of economic development programs and place-based initiatives, strong stakeholder engagement, collaborative teamwork and well-developed communication skills.

You will also have relevant tertiary qualifications at a degree level in a relevant discipline and/or demonstrated experience in economic development in place.

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the role of local government in economic development in a local neighbourhood and global city context.
