Domestic Support Specialist

We are seeking individuals to support people in living independently and happily in their home and community.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will assist clients who are elderly and/or living with a disability by helping them maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
Minimum 4 days availability required Tuesday - Friday. The role involves domestic duties such as cleaning and home upkeep, which may be delivered by two team members in a vehicle or independently using own vehicle.
In addition to domestic duties, the successful applicant will provide support with personal care, social support, in-home respite, and domestic assistance to help clients maintain their independence.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with daily tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
Provide personal care and support for mobility and transfers.
Support clients to participate in social activities and community events.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions and services provided.
Work collaboratively with other support workers to ensure client needs are met.

The successful applicant will possess:
Positive attitude and proactive approach.
First Aid/CPR certificate and NDIS Worker Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
Smartphone compatible with third-party apps.
Basic computing skills, including email access and online meetings.
For Domestic Lifestyle Support Worker: physical capacity to complete domestic duties and cleaning experience is beneficial.
For Lifestyle Support Worker: Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Disability Support, experience providing in-home care and support, and current unrestricted driver's license.
