Job Opportunity: Part-Time Payroll Officer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to fill the role of Part-Time Payroll Officer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll administration through the SAP Payroll System.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Interpreting and entering timesheets into SAP for employees with high accuracy.
  • Ensuring all timesheets have been received and all employees have been accounted for in a timely manner.
  • Liaising with appropriate personnel to resolve any missing timesheet issues.
  • Providing payroll information and support to weekly staff in a clear and concise manner.
  • Monitoring and reporting on missing timesheets to management.
  • Performing payroll-related duties as requested by the Finance Manager or Finance Officer.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Experience working with computerized accounting systems (SAP R/3 an advantage).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • The ability to interpret awards and Enterprise Bargaining Agreements.
  • High-level attention to detail and accuracy.
