Automotive Technician Opportunity at a Leading Electric Vehicle Brand

This exciting role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge technology, featuring the latest developments in electric vehicle (EV) models. As an Automotive Technician, you will play a vital part in delivering high standards, ensuring every vehicle is prepared and maintained to perfection.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive pre-delivery inspections (PDI) to guarantee vehicles meet manufacturer standards before handover to customers
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to verify vehicle functionality and identify any potential issues
  • Complete routine checks, system calibrations, and minor mechanical adjustments as required
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical or electrical concerns prior to vehicle delivery
  • Perform Pre-Owned Vehicle maintenance and mechanical repairs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues
  • Work closely with the Technical Operations Team for diagnosis and repairs
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company standards
  • Participate in ongoing training on the latest automotive technologies
About You:
  • You must hold a Certificate III in Automotive Technology or equivalent qualification
  • You have experience in a dealership, OEM, or reputable service environment
  • You possess strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • You have experience with electric vehicles (EVs) or are willing to undergo training
  • You hold a current and valid driver's licence
  • You have meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • You're able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • You have the right to work in Australia (Australian citizen or Permanent Resident preferred)
