Medical Education Coordinator Role

This is a critical position that involves providing support and leadership to Medical Education Officers in delivering education and training programs for the prevocational medical workforce in rural areas.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop processes and procedures to ensure the successful orientation, accreditation, education, training, and supervision of doctors in rural areas.
  • Collaborate with governing bodies such as the Postgraduate Medical Council of Western Australia and specialist vocational medical colleges to deliver high-quality education programs.
  • Provide oversight of medical students in rural sites and facilitate training pathways and professional development opportunities for doctors.
