Locum Medical Practitioner Opportunity
">We are seeking a medical practitioner to cover a locum shift at our public hospital located in a port town 220 km north of Melbourne. The position will involve working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing acute care services to patients from various backgrounds.
">The successful candidate must have current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
">As a locum medical practitioner, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that provides a range of services including emergency, surgical, medical, maternity, paediatrics, primary care, aged care, and community health.
">The hospital has 67 acute hospital beds and an aged care service that accommodates 68 high care and five low care residential beds. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and staff members.
">The closest airport to the area is located 190 km from the hospital, and the town is a 2.5-hour drive from Melbourne Airport. There are various activities and features within the region, including wineries, water sports, and authentic paddle steamer rides.
