Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Business Partner, focusing on Human Resources and supporting various aspects of the employee journey. Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, you will collaborate with managers across different locations to drive HR initiatives.

As a key member of the team, you will be involved in projects that enhance HR processes, improve data quality, and ensure compliance. You will also provide practical advice and guidance to managers and employees, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with managers to implement HR strategies and provide expert advice on people-focused initiatives.
  • Collaborate on projects that optimize HR processes and improve data management.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance documents.
  • Support HR operations, including onboarding, employee changes, and day-to-day activities.
Employee Relations Focus
  • Advise managers and employees on policies, procedures, and sensitive matters.
  • Investigate and resolve conflicts fairly, confidentially, and quickly.
  • Monitor workplace culture and suggest initiatives to boost engagement.
  • Guide leaders through challenging situations while balancing employment law and company values.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years' experience in a Business Partner or Generalist role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and award interpretation.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel.
  • Experience with HRIS systems, such as Connx, is highly desirable.
