Project Coordinator Role

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to join our team in the field of plant biosecurity.
">Key Responsibilities">
  • Provide technical advice to stakeholders on project progress and development.
  • Manage routine project communications, including distributing and uploading project resources.
  • Develop moderately complex project documents and review documents drafted by other project staff.
  • Oversee the management of project-related documentation, adhering to project procedures and departmental guidelines.
  • Track project schedules, budgets, and milestones, ensuring approved changes are implemented.
  • Research and analyze information to prepare correspondence, reports, briefings, and submissions on project milestones.
  • Utilize appropriate project management techniques, methodologies, and tools as per departmental requirements.
  • Coordinate multiple tasks within agreed priorities, timeframes, and accountabilities using analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
  • Undertake routine procurement tasks for the project team as directed and authorized under relevant policies and procedures.
">Mandatory Requirements">
  • Possess knowledge, skills, and experience in project management.
  • Hold a current 'C' class drivers' license.
">Desirable Qualifications">
  • A Certificate IV in Project Management Practice or equivalent from a recognized tertiary institution.
  • Experience with state government financial systems is an advantage.
