We are seeking an experienced and professional Casual Medical Receptionist to join our team in a medical centre in Toowoomba. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask.

Job Summary:

This is a casual role with varied hours Monday to Friday and Saturdays on a roster system. We require a mature nature, friendly, professional attitude and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome patients into the practice with courtesy
  • Answer phone calls and enquiries in a professional and friendly manner
  • Schedule and manage patient appointments
  • Deliver exceptional customer service at all times
  • Collect and enter patient details
  • Perform general administrative duties such as scanning, faxing, mail sorting and filing
  • Patient billing and processing of payments
Requirements:
  • A high level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Knowledge of Best Practice (an advantage)
  • Previous Medical Reception experience essential
  • A team player attitude is essential
  • Knowledge of Medicare and Private Billings
