Compassionate Care Assistant Wanted

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate care assistant to join our team in the Stanwell Park region. As a valued member of our care team, you will play a vital role in facilitating positive health and wellbeing options for individuals, their families, and carers.

Job Summary:

This is an opportunity to make a real difference in your community and residents' lives by providing person-centred care duties, including assistance with medication and wound dressing. Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, working collaboratively to continue doing things they love
  • Provide person-centred care duties, including assistance with medication (if competent) and wound dressing
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Aged Care Support or actively pursuing qualification
  • Knowledge of contemporary regulatory requirements related to aged care
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and meet resident care needs using a holistic approach
  • Tolerance, patience, and empathy for residents and their needs
  • Understanding of Continuous Quality Improvement, Work, Health & Safety, and Infection Prevention and Control
  • Excellent communication and numeracy skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
