Materials Procurement Specialist

This position plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of Sydney's metro rail infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, with the ability to set procurement strategies and manage purchase requisitions effectively. Additionally, they should have experience working on large-scale construction projects and a solid understanding of cost control and risk analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies.
  • Coordinate with technical stakeholders to distribute purchase requisitions.
  • Prepare reports and planning documents in accordance with project requirements.
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in a similar role.

  • Negotiation expertise.
  • Strong analytical skills for cost control and risk analysis.
